Your first visit lasts approximately one and one-half hours, in order to learn your pertinent history, do a thorough related examination, and allow time for beginning treatment. The better Dr. Rucker knows you and your condition, the more satisfactorily she can design a treatment plan for you, whether it is for one visit or a longer relationship.

Every follow-up visit includes a check-in time, to see how you responded to your previous treatment, and to learn if there are any new findings. Your care in this office is a team effort, with you being a major part of the team. You will likely be given suggestions of exercises to do or lifestyle changes you might make in order to optimize your treatments here. We may discuss diet and nutrition. You are ultimately in charge, and will be involved in any plan or treatment provided. If a referral to another provider is appropriate, we will facilitate that referral.
